Susquehanna Speedway Results for 5/10/08
5/11/08 - Jenn has been doing a GREAT job running with all these veteran drivers. She finished 9th in the make up race from rain a couple weeks ago. She started on the front row and was disapointed with her finish. But Bobby thinks he had too soft a tire on for her. Plus the cushion was really thick and she jumped it to get freight trained. She is determined to learn to race hard in traffic. She is every bit as good as a lot of drivers in this class. She just needs experience. In her heat race the she got into the 6T of Dave Thompson and he spun. She spent the whole night upset about that. She finished 6th in heat. In the feature she was running good til she got behind the 6T of Dave Thompson for 10 laps and just couldn't find her way around him and she didn't want to hit him again. So she had to settle for a 15th place finish after jumping the cushion to keep from hitting him. Bobby and the guys are gonna be all over that car this week.
Trav, Wow what a race. The Extreme Stocks put on a great show. Trav finished a close 2nd to the #9 in his heat race. Feature time he started 5th and Sam started 14th or so. Trav led lap 9 and laps 11-16. He and Brodericks put on a heck of a race. Swapping the lead every turn. We thought this was going to be Trav's first win but he lost by 1/2 car length or so. That's ok. That was one exciting race. Sam came out of no where to finish 4th. At one point we though Sam was going to slip in there and take the Win. These guys are awesome drivers. It's nice to see good, clean racing between these 5 fast camaros.
